Home Sweet Home

Well I made it home at last... it was a long flight back but as I said I survived. I got out of the airport at about midnight and was back to work bright and early Thursday morning.

I was able to get a bunch of stuff done on Thursday and Friday so I am not as far behind as I thought I would be which is a really good thing! I am however working every Saturday for the rest of the month so it's going to get pretty busy around here.

My poor ole computer blew up the day before I left for Holland so I am pretty bummed out about that. Blog postings may slow down a bit until I get that fixed or get myself another one which hopefully will no be tooooo long but I guess we will see. Regardless I will try to post as often as I can and keep you all updates :)

Last Day In Holland

I went into Schagen on my last day in Holland. Once a year they set up the main street downtown and run horse races and I was able to see all of the excitement.

There were tons of people up and down the streets watching and betting on the races. My aunt Alli was really lucky and walked away from the races with a pocketfull of money!

In the morning we had a visit from my cousin Arco's wife Monique and his little daughter Michelle.

Then we had another cute little visitor, the daughter of my dad's cousin Jan... her name is Laura and I had a wonderful time playing with her for awhile.

In the evening most of the family came by to say farewell.

It was a nice chance to see everyone and get in one last goodbye.

It was a great trip and I will definitely have to go back soon... but good to be getting home as well!

Happy Twenty Fifth!!!

When we arrived home from Texel on Sunday we were surprized to walk into a surprize party for my mom and dad's twenty-fifth wedding anniversary!

The place was packed! Everyone had arrived to congratulate them and to party!

We even got to meet my uncle Hank's new girlfriend from Germany who is in town for a few days!

We posed for a group picture of my parents and "the cousins"

I was able to meet my cousin Teun (son of Hank) for the first time :)

There was a picture with my parents and all of my dad's siblings :)

And finally a picture of the family!!! (wish G, Tav and Tevin were there for this one!)

My dad's best friend from elementary school James Skippio was even there. It was a total surprize and a really great party! I think my parents were very surprized and very very happy!
