Paris

Our trip to Paris was quite an adventure!

We arrived on Monday and headed to the Eiffel Tower

I went up to the top with my mom and Kent and the view was AMAZING!

It was pretty busy on the tower so it took us about two hours to make it up and back down.

By the time we made it back down it was dark and we got to see the tower all lite up as well.

On tuesday we had a walking tour of Paris.

We went up the bell towers at Notre Dame and the view was wonderful again.

I love this picture of the statue overlooking Paris.

This is me and my mom taking a break after walking up and back down about 300 stairs!

The Notre Dame...

My Dad stopped to light a candle by the cathedral of Maria. I took a few pictures before he lite the candles and this is right after. In this picture you can see a few orbs appeared right near the statue after he lite the candle.

This is a statue of Saint Michael that we came across on our journey.

And me looking wind blown!

Mom and Dad got to be lovers in Paris :)

Our last stop was the Louves which was absolutely amazing as well.

The beautiful pyramid at the Louves.

Alkmaar

Long update for you all today! I haven't been close to a computer for a few days but I've backdated a few posts so you can see what we've been upto! Enjoy!!!

I headed out with my mom and dad for a day in Alkmaar on Saturday. It was their big market day so we got to see the cheese runners and the cheese market.

There was also a guy in the market making traditional wooden clogs.

This is just a cool lion statue that I spotted.

I still can't get over the thousands of bikes that you see everywhere!

The best part of the day was the crazy boat tour that me and mom took thru Alkmaar!

There were quite a few very low canals that we had to duck under on the boat... very crazy!

There were also some really nice sites to see...

Mom looked like she was enjoying herself in between ducking episodes :)

We even passed by my Dad's windmill that we had toured earlier in the day.

Here is a little video of our advernture...

The carnival also started on Saturday and there were rides and snack stands set up all over town. It was just like the stampede but spreaded out wherever we went. It was awesome!!!

This is a beautiful angel statue I spotted on the tour...

It was a really nice city and a great day :)
