Today is my godson Avery's 13th birthday. I still cannot believe that he is not here for me to hug, kiss, and give my best wishes to.
Due to "circumstances" I was not able to call him today to wish him a happy birthday because I don't even have a phone number for him.
If by any chance he does see my birthday message I want to wish him a great birthday. Being his godmother and having him in my life has definitely been one of life's greatest blessings. He is a great person and I know that he is growing up to be a great man. Like I said last year MY LIFE AND THIS WORLD IS BETTER BECAUSE HE IS A PART OF IT!!!
Don't let the craziness of this world get you down kiddo. I love you more than words could ever say and I am so SO proud to call you my godson everyday. I am sorry I have not made it down lately and I WILL do everything I can to come and visit you soon.
Thank you all for your birthday wishes and encouragement. I haven't been able to stop cold turkey but I think I am well on my way to being smoke free. I went and saw my doctor on Tuesday cause I really did not enjoy not smoking on Monday! My doctor gave me a prescription for pretty much zyban and I have already noticed a change in my cravings and mood so let's hope for the best.
Other than that the week has been pretty busy. I have almost fourty drug and gambling presentations booked for March and just lost three of my ten volunteers who help me out with them so we will be hopping for sure :)

Well I have made it to 33. My parents had a birthday dinner for me so I was treated to my favorite Chinese food tonight... ginger beef, cantonese noodles, pot stickers, and egg rolls all to way around. I also got a brand new brown hoodie so all in all it was a nice day.
I'm going to try to quit smoking as a gift to myself... the gift of being able to breath better all year long :)
I would like to introduce the newest member to join the family! My cousin Melissa and her husband James had a beautiful baby boy BENJAMIN JAMES KIMBELL!
Benjamin was born February 21st 2007 at 11:30pm. Mom and baby Ben spent a few days in the hospital but they are both home now doing much better. Congratulations Melissa, James, and big sis Sophie!
