A Family Day

I took the day off today to keep an eye on Benji but he is healing really nicely so I decided that it was also a good opportunity to get over and see my little niece!

Both Charlie and Wes were pretty happy to see me. Wes came right over for a cuddle and Charlie decided that he really really loved my new boots (I think he smelt Jaike and Benji on them and decided to rub all over them to let me cat's know how much he missed them too).

Tevin is busier then ever! She is crawling all over and had a great time trying to climb into her play box...

She really is a little angel!

This is right after lunch... she was full of smiles so I think she really enjoyed the green concoction and her cherries and yogurt.

Just before nap time Grandpa Bruce came by for a visit as well so we had a wonderful visit with him. I headed into work for about an hour to check email and voice messages and then I went and visited my mom and brother... it was a family filled day all around :)

My Baby Is Home

My little Benji had to go in for surgury today but he's out, he's home, and he's doing pretty good. It was pretty scary because he has a heart murmur and we were all a little worried that the anesthetic would be a little too hard on his heart so they put him under with gas instead. He had some blood tests and a urinalysis and the results haven't come back from the lab but my fingers are crossed that it will be good news from that as well. Right now I have him settled down and he is sleeping off the trauma. It sure is good to have him home!

Happy Birthday Pam!!!

In celebration of my coworker Pam's birthday a whole bunch of us headed off th Aussie Rules for the night!

Pretty much everyone who was invited out showed up so it was a good turnout and a good party!

Lori almost took out Kim while posing for a picture... but no love was lost and Kim posed with Lori for this here picture.

The show is very interactive and pretty soon everyone was up dancing on the chairs!

From the looks of it everyone had a really really good time :)

I invited Kelly out for the night as well. He arrived a little bit late so him and Crystal were sat up at the bar... but they could still see the show just fine.

Genieve and Carla showed up before long and kept the party in the corner booth going.

And here is everyone up dancing and clapping on the chairs again!

My friend Gill was there as well. It was really nice to see both Gillian and Adrienne since they have both been gone for a few months now.

It was a really fun night and really nice to get out with everyone again. It has been awhile since we have all done that... and we should really plan another night out soon!
