The DC Annual Picnic

And decided that these skipping rope things were kind of cool.

Talan decided to stay up and hang out with us too for most of the morning :)

Vince was on grill and kept us well fed with burgers and sausages!

Once again the picnic was full of kids and pets.

Lawrence brought his super bird which was once again the hit of the party.

I even got to steal him away from OMR and hold the little guy this year!

I think his biggest fan though was little Lucas.

It was a really fun picnic. Then on the way home my car broke down and I could not get it to run even after I boosted the battery. I ended up sticking the booster pack into the engine and used a cable to hold down the hook as much as I could.

It was probably totally illegal to drive it like that but at least it got me home and off Sarcee Trail where I almost got driven into like a dozen times in the hour and a bit it took me to get the thing running...

I think it was the battery and I'm hoping to get it charged up and running for me to get to work and around tomorrow... so wish me luck :)
