Memories
This first one I found makes me laugh because I totally remember this picture being taken. It was back in Saskatoon and I am only maybe three or four here. My grandma and grandpa Shadbolt had came into town and they bought this tent for us four kids, my little cousin Rob was a baby (under one), Genitta was four or five, and Ronaye was like six or seven. There is actually another picture out there somewhere with Ronaye, Genitta and Rob in it but for some reason (which I can't remember) I had a huge problem with the original seating arangements of the four of us and I threw a tentrum and got kicked out of the picture all together and sent back into the house... well I pouted for a bit and I remember feeling like I was getting screwed right over until my grandad agreed to take me outside and let me have a picture in the tent all by myself... it was a small but sweet victory!
Okay and this second picture that I found is pretty funny as well just because those jeans that I am wearing are almost identical to my favorite jeans that I have now! I totally don't remember having those jeans before.
This is me and "the gang" from left to right Lisa, Julie, Patsy, and me in high school. I met Lisa at Wisewood and her dad was the chief of the military police so it was always interesting trying to sneak her out on our adventures (her dad wouldn't let her come to BC with us since we would drive throug Field BC, which he claimed it to be the drug capital of the world or something like that) , I met Julie in cadets and she was probably my best friend at the time. Julie and her twin sister Janet became my very first roomates right around this time. Patsy was my most adventurous friend... Patsy was my best friend early in high school, we kind of moved apart, and then she became my best friend again in College... she would become me and Wayne's roomate in College. I would really love to know where those three are these days...
This is SO Scrapper Wayne... and this weekend kind of reminds me of my infamous adventures with scrapper Wayne and our severe drinking days so this is the third picture I've decided to share. It is of Wayne heading out for his bouncing job at the Warehouse. Wayne would often drag me and Patsy out with him on Friday and Saturday nights and since we would go in one car we would be there until it closed. It was with Patsy on one of those nights, while we were sitting on the hood of the car waiting for Wayne to finish up that the title "Scrapper Wayne" came to be.
